Back in September, Samsung launched its two new smartphone camera sensors – 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor and 50MP ISOCELL GN5.
The ISOCELL HP1 is said to be the world’s first 200MP resolution sensor and it makes use of new pixel-binning technology that improves both bright-light and low-light shooting. On the other hand, the 50MP ISOCELL GN5 is aimed to improve autofocusing performance with Samsung claiming the autofocus speed to be “instantaneous”.
200MP camera will be adopted by Moto first, then by Xiaomi in the second half of next year, and by 2023, Samsung will adopt 200MP.
